10 Fun and Easy Science Experiments for Your Child!

I’m a geek, I don’t mind admitting it! So today’s kid’s craft is STEM-related introduction to science through fun experiments. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Our local school has adapted the acronym to STEAM, including art, which I find amazing! To begin with, I find all five elements help us understand the world around us. Another point is I find STEAM far more mesmerizing than STEM. To give credit where it’s due, the acronym used to be SMET. What were they thinking!?

The highlighted video was released by the Raising DaVinci blog and uses in most cases items you have around the house. The experiments are as follows:

Cloud In A Bottle – 0:13
Imploding Can – 0:44
Bouncy Egg – 1:15
Invisible Ink – 2:28
DIY Hovercraft – 3:22
Bending Water – 4:41
Balloon Racers – 4:23
Exploring Gallium– 5:16
Exploding Bag – 6:16
Balloon Inflator -6:52
